HerdiOflo’s New Musicalities Project

It has been a while since I’ve written on my blog.  Just last month, I’ve renewed this domain and hosting, as this blog has given me a sense of existence in the internet world by expressing my thoughts on paper or to be more precised, my thoughts on a computer screen.  I just wanted to share to you all my next project in regards to the ‘musicalities’ of my life, in which Hiphop runs deeply within my veins.  The word, “Hustle” has different meanings to different people, as again, “Ya’ll can’t knock my hustle.”  Its just as simple as that. Nobody can’t tell me nothing, as listening to too many people can get you astray from what you’re looking for.  I go by the creed of “Life is Short” as we have limited time to make it happen.  Lets do it.

Click here for my next project.  Thank you Andy “GDT” of Zero One (www.thisiszeroone.com) for creating this profile.  Lets go 2010!

Top 10 Traits – Written by “Amrop Hever.”

Excellent verbal and written skills

Employers place special emphasis on the ability to communicate clearly to project teammates, corporate leaders, and subordinates.

Ability to turn theory into practice

Higher-level thinking is always desirable; however, companies need personnel who can put into practice what they know. Results are important.

Working well in groups

Companies want team players. Most corporations use project teams of professionals often from different areas of expertise. Many employers typically want staff members to be able to work well in teams of four to six people. This team orientation oftentimes requires knowledge and ability to function with those of different ethnic and/or social backgrounds.

Flexibility

Have you ever heard the phrase, “nothing is more constant than change?” Change is constant in most work environments. Rapid advances in technology and customer requirements combine to make constant demands on companies and their employees. Employees must be able to adapt to and use new structures, programs, and procedures. They need to be flexible enough and willing to change as needed.

Problem solving

Critical thinking skills coupled with good communications skills are essential for today’s employees. They must be able to recognize, define, and solve work-related problems efficiently and effectively.

Creativity

Going beyond currently accepted models to find breakthrough solutions is highly valued. Realizing that no single answer is best in every circumstance, individuals must have the confidence needed to take risks and try new and different ideas.

Striking a balance

Today’s world is full of stresses. How we deal with these stresses helps to determine who we are and what we are. Those who lead lives balanced with outside recreational and social activities are better-adjusted and more productive workers.

Time management

Managing time and meeting schedules are important. Competing responsibilities and multiple work tasks can often be challenging. Effective employees are those who handle their responsibilities dependably and in an efficient manner.

Fearlessness

Although employers do not want reckless behavior in their employees, they do find that breakthrough successes require professionals who are not afraid of failure. Also, employees who do fail must learn from those failures, adapt, and try again.

Commitment

The ability to be committed and dedicated to corporate or group goals is crucial. Loyalty and goal orientation are key traits. Employees possessing these traits are seen as cornerstones of the corporation. These are the individuals who are responsible for the company’s establishing long-range success.

As you can see, fitting into a company and achieving long-term success takes knowledge and dedication. These strategies for job success can result in job security, career development, and ultimate personal satisfaction and fulfillment.
