Emotions arise, through my body as the news flashes
Cries of pains of helpless being’s dashes and slashes
Around the ransacked of the messes of debris,
What was left all their lives changed one-hundred-eighty degrees,
Family members searching sad cries fill the air.
From the news, civilians affected full of despair,
Why must it strike all parts of the sensitive,
Some were even sleeping no one anticipated this negative,
Complaints of slow actions made by the government,
Dissatisfaction, some demand a change in amendment,
Fathers searching their children,
Children searching for their children,
Lost children gather together,
Many children lost forever.
Natural disasters with no signs of a warning,
Tsunamis and earthquakes all signs of a warning,
Trickles of misery my heart goes out to their sorrow,
I ask God when my people’s will have a better tomorrow.
